2016 Spring Camp

This program isn't simply for fun; it's also designed for foreign youths to embark on a “Grand Tour” of Taiwan's natural environment.
Fifty hours of Chinese classes combine task-based language learning with practical lessons designed for touring and living in Taiwan, include tourist and basic Chinese.

Furthermore, participants will get to know Taiwanese and Chinese culture through the experiences and the tours. Unique cultural activities include blue-dying, traditional snack making, drum classes and observing aboriginal culture. On top of all that,  participants will see the natural beauty of Taiwan, go to the world-renowned Sun Moon Lake, have a guided tours of the Qigu mangrove wetland, hang around in Jiufen, and visit historical attractions in Tainan.
2 weeks camp is just enough to explore Taiwan’s hot spots and improve your basic Chinese, so come and join us now!

Course Plan

Chinese Lessons:
Total 50 hours, including 30 hours of classroom instruction and 20 hours of task-based language learning.
Activities:
a. Natural Ecology: Field trips to attractive locations all over Taiwan (Lavender Cottage, Ocean Exploration in Wang-Gong tide area).
b. Culture and History: Field trip to the National Palace Museum, Tea ceremony course, clay molding experience, Jiufen, Dadaocheng, Historic site of Tainan
c. Skill enhancement: Chinese lesson

●Date : March 20th, 2016 - April 3rd, 2016
●Application window closes Feb. 29th, 2016.

●As for medical insurance, participants are advised to purchase accident and medical insurance before coming to Taiwan. In Taiwan, only foreigners who have a resident visa for six months are eligible for Taiwanese National Health Insurance. ETEE can only offer accident insurance to participants.

Course Plan

  • First day ─ Welcome party
  • 21st - 25th ─ Every Morning has 3 hour Chinese class and task-based language learning or cultural experience(Visiting National Palace Museum,Play crazy Bubble ball) in afternoon.
  • 26th ─ Move south to Tainan, have a Qigu wetland bamboo raft tour and visit Anping historical area.
  • 27th ─ Making traditional snack by yourself, visit Tainan Confucius Temple and Ten drum culture village. Back to Taipei.
  • 28th Mar. - 1st Apr. ─ Every Morning has 3 hour Chinese class and task-based language learning or sight-seeing tour(Jiufen and Sanxia Hakka blue dying) in afternoon.
  • 2nd Apr. ─ Move south to Taichung to visit Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village.
  • 3rd Apr. ─Cruise around Sun Moon Lake and visit Hakka township. Back to Taipei.

Accident Insurance

Refund Policy

1.  If you would like to cancel your registration for our program, please download the refund application form from the website. Please return the completed form by email or fax.
2.  A cancellation fee of NT 3,000 (USD 103) will be withheld from the total refund amount.
a.You may receive a complete refund (minus cancellation fee) if you cancel registration 60 days prior to the starting date of the program.
b.You may receive a 60% refund (minus cancellation fee) if you cancel registration 45 days prior to the starting date of the program.
c.You may receive a 40% refund (minus cancellation fee) if you cancel registration between 45 days to 30 days before the starting date of the program.
d.You will be ineligible to receive any refund if you cancel registration within 30 days prior to the start of the program. Fees for the program will already be distributed by this time, and we will be unable to offer refunds for cancellation requests made within the month before the program's starting date.。
3.  It will take us approximately 14 days to remit the program fees after a refund application is received. However please understand local banks may take more time to complete the transfer.
